Although you may imagine that all kennel run manufacturers supply very similar products this is not the case. If you look closely at the information given by different manufacturers you will see that many miss out vital information, such as which type of gate bolt is fitted – an indication of the level of quality. We supply gates with fully welded and padlockable sliding bolts – no pop rivets, nuts or bolts – and we provide you with all the information you need to make the right choice of kennel. | Product Specification Panel Frames: 1"x 1" (25mm) box tube. Horizontal centre bracing on all panels over 4ft (1.2m) high. Vertical bracing on all panels over 6ft (1.8m) long. Galvanized nuts and bolts supplied. Frames drilled universally for bolting panels to each other to a wall or kenel etc. All panels stand on 1"(25mm) legs to provide a washdown gap under the frame. This gap can be omitted on part solid sheeted dividing panels that may be required to sit flush to the ground. Mesh: 2" x 2" (50mm) x 10 gauge welded mesh. Other options are available for catteries. The mesh is welded to the box tube frame at intervals no greater than four inches. All cut ends of mesh are individually welded. Vertical Bars: .5" (12mm) diameter bars spaced with 2.75" (70mm) gaps Standard Heights: 6ft (1.8m), 4ft (1.2m) & 3ft (0.9m). Non standard custom sizes can be catered for. Finish: Hot dip galvanized in zinc alloy to B.S. 729, after manufacture. Solid Galvanized Sheet: 20 Gauge (approx 1mm thick) pre galvanized sheet chemically bonded and reinforced with rivets. Mastic sealed around edges. Galvanized solid sheet can be supplied in the following heights: 20" (0.5m), 39" (1m), 49" (1.3m) and 74" (1.9m). Sheeted panels have additional vertical bracing bars to prevent vibration. Gates: 25" wide with fully weled hinges and padlockable side bolt. A handhold 5" x 3" gives dog proof access to the padbolt frm inside the kennel. Gate bolt 12mm diameter; hinge pins 10mm diameter. Standard gate geometry is for the gate to be positioned on the left hand side of the panel and hinged on the right hand side of the gate to open inwards. Please specify when ordering if you require an alternative arrangement.  A centre gated panel may be preferable when fixing in an inward opening gate to brickwork. This is available at a small extra cost. Slopping Dividing Kennel Panels: Panels can be fabricated with sloping tops to accommodate roof sheeting or sloping bottoms to accommodate sloping centre bases whilst staying flush to the kennel wall. Holes can be drilled as an option in the top of the frame to fix roof perling. Galvanized angle iron perlings can be supplied. |
